Querida Bertica tú y Adolfo íntimos amigos de Itze y Luis desde los buenos tiempos en La Habana. Ahora estáis todos juntos, You were also my strict piano teacher in Cuba. Will always be in my thoughts Johanna Pahl Sanchez Wohlgemuth

She was my piano teacher in the late '70s when UNT was North Texas State University. I fondly remember being excused from her studio to practice an additional 15 minutes and come back with the phrase perfected. She had a profound influence on my piano playing and taught me how to practice. I treasure her markings on my music to this day. I was also fortunate to know "Cello" her beloved dog.

She was my piano teacher at UNT... We always fought, but it was always in an effort to make me better. She was a GOOD lady.

I recently learned of Berthe Odnoposoff's passing and I was greatly saddened by her loss! Mrs Odnoposoff was my piano teacher and professor from 1980 till 1984 in Denton, Texas at NTSU. I had never learned from any previous piano teachers as much as I learned from her! She helped me interpret even the most difficult modern music like American composer...

My husband, Graham H. Phipps, PhD and I, Robyn Lorraine Lee, appreciated so much our acquaintance and subsequent friendship with Berthe while she and her husband were at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She greeted me with wonderful hugs. Thank you for sending the information to our local paper about her death. Sincere condolences, Robyn and Graham.
