Send FlowersBertie A. Perkins departed this life on January 9, 2010 at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Augustus Williams and the late Blanch Williams in addition to her daughter, Barbara A. Perkins; Brothers, Joseph P. Perkins and John G. Williams.
She leaves to cherish a daughter, Norma Jean Thomas; son in-law, Geino A. Thomas; two sons, Issac W. Perkins, Jr and Donald Perkins; 5 Grandchildren, Joseph E. Perkins, Nicole Perkins, Leroy Mason, III, Clandra Mason, Ernest D. Perkins, Jeronica Lewis, Dwaine J. Mason, Malikah S. Smith and Lashelle L. Mason; 7 great grandchildren, three Brothers and a sister; Augustus T. Williams, Theodore A. Williams and Lynwood Henry Williams and Mable R. Williams. She also leaves a host of friends, nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
Going Home Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010, 12:00pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church: 209 Washington Street, Occoquan, VA. Flower Donations can be sent to: Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd. Woodbridge, VA 22192.
