Not sure what to say?

Gladys, we are so sorry to learn of Bert's passing and extend our deepest sympathy. We remember a number of really good times with the two of you and with Bill's parents. Lewis passed in 2006, but Winifred is still living at 100. She too would send her love, but she is not able. Blessings to your family.

We send our sincere condolences to your Family and Friends. Find comfort in the memories you shared as a source of endurance in the days to come. May peace be with you.

Gladys,
Carolyn just called to inform me of your loss. I am so sorry to find that you have joined us in our life situation.
Even though it has been many years since we last saw each other, I still have fond memories our times together at 685 1st St in LO, and a wonderful day in Conn. with the two of you and Linda. Such wonderful memories make life so much more enjoyable.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Gladys ~ Bert was an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person; but all of the Rascoes were important to the Hofmann Family, through our Arlington Heights neighborhood and the Unitarian Church. The strongest connection, however, was the friendship of Charlie and my son Peter. I am sorry for your loss, but grateful to have known Bert. ~ Fondly, Jane

Bert was a good architect and good friend and I'm sure a good husband and dad - many fond memories at SOM in Portland. He will be missed by many - may the Lord be with the family.

Brothers Bertis and Billy and Cousins Mary Crawford and Bertis.

Wug was my mother's (Mary Crawford Tinkler) first cousin and the son of my Favorite Great Aunt Mildred! He last visited us in Chattanooga a couple of years ago and we enjoyed a lunch at "the Southern." We appreciated his continuing his brother Billy's genealogy work on the Crawfords. Sad to see him go so soon and know you will all miss him. I've scanned a couple of photos from Mother's baby book and another album!

My condolences to Gladys and the family. It was a blessing to meet your family. May Bertis rest in peace and you all find comfort at this time of sorrow. Bless you all.

A close friend and a fine person. We seldomly saw him but remember him for his wit and sincerity.
