Not sure what to say?

I have been in the microwave business for 4 decades. Bert stood out among his competitors through honesty and attention to keeping promises made by his principles. He would always amaze me in his hospitality. My wife and children all shared in enjoying his friendship. He called me at home soon before his passing. I sorta knew the end was there when I started doing some arithmetic about his age. During my later years in business Bert was always the benchmark that I used for new people trying...

I feel terrible, I had no idea. This has been months and I was not aware, I am so sorry. J. Fisher

Mrs Aaron sorry to hear of Mr Aarons passing, I worked for him briefly in his home, many years ago organizing his files in his home office. I then also went with you to your townhouse in Norfolk, helping you clear it out, I believe you were moving to Williamsburg then. Mr Aaron was such a kind man, and I remember all the nice work clothes you gave me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Mr. Aarons family Karen Dobson

Dearest Gladys. Please accept Michael and my, deepest condolences on Bert's passing. We will miss Bert's smile and wit. A cherish member of our community and neighborhood, who will be deeply missed.

Gladys - My deepest sympathy and my gratitude for the honor of an enduring friendship.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

What a local hero. I had the honor of getting to know Bert and Gladys through the symphony society. Bert´s zeal and passion for life were so evident in every interaction. He will be missed and leaves a beautiful and enduring legacy in our community.

Bert will be missed by many. He was unique, talented, intelligent, kind, and had a great sense of humor. He touched many people during his 99 years.

We were sad to learn of Bert's passing and would like to offer our condolences. He was instrumental in helping VBCF plan a breast cancer symposium for primary care physicians in the mid-1990s and also was involved in VBCF's advocacy efforts and with our Peninsula Chapter. We were grateful for his support.
