Not sure what to say?

Your "Golden Legacy" is being shared on Twitter, Pinterest and Bluesky all year around especially during Black History Month.

Daddy, you are missed for your wisdom, creativity, and encouragement toward academic achievement. You have left a "golden legacy" with these ideals, too. -Denise

The "Gift of self-knowledge" shown to a child "Open to Dreaming" is what Mr. Bertram A. Fitzgerald, Jr. left with Me and the World. People will remember the greatness of the periodicals this man left for us. A true "Legacy" for everyone and all generations. Black excellence. Let us never forget!

I was first introduced to "Golden Legacy" during my first trip to New York (with my mother) as a teenager. Years later, I rediscovered it and added it to our offerings at Pyramid Bookstore, 2 blocks north of Howard University in Washington, DC. It became an instant bestseller and remained so until we closed!! Mr. Fitzgerald's legacy of enlightenment is Golden!!

I enjoyed talking to Bertram over the telephone many years ago. I had ordered the wonderful teaching guide and the comic book selection for the last 20 years. He will be remembered in my hearts and others for years

My gratitude to Mr. Fitzgerald's Golden Legacy series is immense. My parents bought those comics and I read them repeatedly as a child and the information is part of me and informs my life purpose. To dispel myths and to nurture the self-esteem of black children. THANK YOU.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Fitzgerald had a great impact on my youth. My sisters and I read the Golden Legacy volumes which I remembered to this day. I just ordered a set and then my sister informed me of his passing and my heart broke. I will always treasure the Golden Legacy that Mr. Fitzgerald has left us!

My deepest sympathy to the family.

Happy and enjoyable memories are yours today and always as we the Harlem River Houses Friends and Family will remember Bert and his contribution to The Strollers, Black History Comics, and...
