I worked for Bert, and his father-in-law, Harry Cohen, back in 1957-58, before I went into the military. Lots of good memories.

Dear "Auntie" Margie,
I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Bert's passing. After 50 years, you will always be Aunt & Uncle to me as we kids grew up calling you that. I have so many fond memories of growing up with Rich (Baker School Orchestra times) and you and your husband and family and the old neighborhood. I can see his smiling teddy bear face! The Chertoks are all well and we hope to see you soon. Our thoughts are with you! Love, Debbie Chertok Greenstein

Dear Margie and family:
Just returned from a trip, so we could not "pay our respects" in a more personal and timely way.
We are both deeply sorry. Bert was an admirable, responsible and caring man who lit up whatever space he occupied. We will miss him. Jerry Medalie and Beth Lowd

Dear Marianne:
I am so glad to see that you still have that everlasting love for the City of Lawrence, as most recently expressed by your taking on the mantle of responsibility for your Dad's mill complex. I so enjoyed those times doing volunteer work on projects in Lawrence with you. Wishing you and your family all well-

Mr. Paley,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Our thoughts are with you from afar, we regret we can't be with the extended Paley family at this sad moment. We will share wonderful stories together on the beach next summer in our regular spot.
