Not sure what to say?

I have many memories of working with Bert. One was his love for a good song. A lot of the time it was a polka. He was always so upbeat and positive. He treated everyone like family. A very kind person.

Dear Al & Alli, Sending our deepest condolences from Chicago, where Al has continued Bert's legacy of generosity and service to the Jewish community. May memories of Bert's love, humor and kindness be with you during this Hanukkah.

Dear Laurie and family, I have many memories of sharing dinner and stories with your family. Bert was one of the sweetest, kindest men I have ever known. He had a great sense of humor and sharing a meal was always fun. Condolences to you all...he was very proud of his family.

Edie and family...We are so sorry... Thinking of you all, Pat and Kent White (Kami's mom and dad)

Uncle Bert! Always such a sweet sweet man. Always there for a good morning! Then followed by "want a diet coke?" He always made sure i knew he appreciated me. He & Stan gave me my first real jewelry job. Took care of all of us like we were his kids, made sure we were safe! Such a good man & friend! He will surley be missed! My thoughts & prayers go out to the entire Rogoway family! Rest in peace old friend!!

So sad to hear of Bert's passing. The man literally never was cross or unkind. Just a joy to be around. I was his neighbor when he and Laurie lived at 2383 Park Place. He was always involved and faced his various illnesses with such bravery and good spiritedness. My heart is with the family at what must be a very tough time. Love, Terri Burton

Bert was one of the kindest souls I have ever known in my life. He found joy in every story he told. Always had a sincere laugh. He had patience beyond my understanding. I am blessed to have known him.
