Not sure what to say?

I have nothing but warm memories of Bert. He was a mentor when I was learning to practice law in the area of foreclosures and collections. He was always extremely calm, professional and kind. I will always remember Bert fondly. My deepest sympathy to Charlotte and the rest of the family.

Bert was such a gentleman - poised, quiet, with a gentle smile. I have been honored to know him at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church for the past 8 years, and to work with him among the Deacons. He is missed.

Charlotte, Bev and Catherine, I am very sorry for the loss of your husband and father. I have very good memories of spending time with your family during the years I went to OSU with you, Catherine. I have thought about all of you often over the years. I would love to see you again sometime. May God Comfort and be near to you during this difficult time.

I had the honor of meeting Bert (and Charlotte) about seven years ago when I attended a 3rd Armored Division Reunion with my father. Our paths crossed several more times at reunions and I shall never forget Bert. Blessings to Bert's family and dear friends.

I had the pleasure of working for Bert when I lived in Portland. I remember him as a soft spoken, kind-hearted, gentleman. He had a beautiful smile. I feel privileged to have known him.

Bert:

Good on you!

If you can get through life and leave people thinking, "That was a really nice guy.", you are golden.

You are golden.

My condolences to Bert's entire family. He was my grandmother's attorney and when she died in 1988, he guided me as her executor skillfully and with compassion through the lengthy settlement of her estate. I've wondered about him through the years and I can only imagine how much he will be missed!

As a proud 1942 Benson grad I worked with Bert on the Reunion Committee when we met at Tony Katrina's home each year. Bert was a good man. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

I worked with Bert on the 50 year Benson Reunion Committee. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
