Not sure what to say?

I was at Groton for the Honea years. He was a kind and gentle man who made a positive difference in our lives. He did not stay long but his life lives on in many of us and we offer our thanks for a good man. Joe Cheshire V class of 1966

I was in disbelief when I read the obituary, in the passing of Rev. Honea. He was a major part of my life when he performed the wedding ceremony for my wife, and I. Our prayers and thoughts are with the entire Honea family.

Father Bert will always be remembered with love. He was such a brilliant Priest and compassionate person. I enjoyed his insight at All Saints Bible study and his ready smile for all! My prayers are with the Honea family.

Dear Patricia,

I remember clearly when Bert and you and your family arrived at St.Paul's and took up residence with us in the "Lower". Bert was a great master for us third formers; but I also recall his sermons, which inspired us and kept our attention. His Texas twang and twinkle in his eye were his signatures. Please accept my deepest sympathy and rest assured that you are in my thoghts.

With love,

Dimitri (Sevastopoulo, '60)

We're shocked and saddened at the news of Bert's passing. What a gentleman and a gentle man of God. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Honea's at this difficult time.

My condolences on the lost of your
loved one.

We have lost a great man and priest. We so loved when Rev. Honea was at St. Andrews and gave his homolies. He always remembered us at the eight o'clock service and called us by name. Our sympathies are with his wife and family.

With such a grounded, wonderful daughter as Mary McClung, Mr. Honea must have been a wonderful parent as well.
