Beryl Middlehurst Clark

She lived next door to my Brother Tim. She would have my husband, Mike snip her hedges. She baked some wonderful lemon cookies or biscuits for Tim, and he shared with me. She was so attractive and had great taste. I enjoyed talking fashion and decorating with her. Reminded us of our Mom, Paddy Jamieson, who was also a War Bride, born in Ireland and raised in England. My family just loved your Mom. Mike and Ryan worked for her and always enjoyed snipping for her. I loved talking to her about her beautiful home. She reminded me of my Mom, truly a lovely lady.

First of all, my Aunt Beryl was the classiest, and sweetest person I think I have ever known. I always tried to have the best manners around her, and Uncle Harry. But, especially her. Uncle Harry was a good ole' Alabama boy and had seen it all, but my English aunt was different. She meant a lot to us, and I will be forever grateful to the kindness she showed me, and my family growing up. Much love to her. Phillip Clark

I met Beryl when visiting my sister Pat Brown in Huntsville , she showed me around her beautiful home , I loved the paintings. Beryl made me so welcome and I have always saved the enormous bar of soap given and exquisitely wrapped RIP.

Along with Anne Haynes she was the mainstay of our Brit pak. I loved her garden and her paintings and always her elegant attire!
