What an inspirational story of devotion and character. While I never met Mr. Oser, I was very familiar with the shoe store, and I believe my mother used his services. While I know your family suffers loss, reflect on what he contributed to our community.

DR. OSER TOOK CARE OF MY FEET WHEN I WAS A LITTLE BACK IN THE 1950'S AND MY SISTERS AND I WENT TO THE CLOSING OF THE STORE. I WILL CHARISH THE MEMORIES OF HIM AND WILL MISS HIM.

I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. You have been a good friend of my cousin, Woodie Holland. It was good to speak to you months ago. You and your family are in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Oser. When I was a young boy, in the 1950's, he fitted me with shoes to correct severely fallen arches. Dr. Oser contined to sell shoes to my mother until her death in 1996. During this 40-year period, whenever I visited the store he would greet me like an old friend regardless of the intervening time or purpose of my visit. Dr. Oser was a very kind and gentle man who was devoted to his many friends, customers, and the community.

Dr Oser was an example for all o follow. My family has been a patron not only of his business but of his wisdom as well for over 30 years. To know him and love him was a real blessing.

My wife Diana, and I, are very saddened by the passing of Dr. Oser.
Growing up, he and Mrs. Oser treated
me as if I were one of their sons. No matter what, whenever I saw him, he always greeted me with a warm hug and a huge smile. Our deepest sympathies to Mrs. Oser, David, Steve, and (my friend) Ken and their families. God Bless.
