I was saddened to hear of the passing of Chief Turner, we spent several years working together in the service of the Lord at lLovefeast COGIC. He always had a big smile and hug to great us each Sunday! Chief was a loyal, dedicated, servant to God, his pastor and church. He spoke frequently of his love and admiration for his beautiful (inside and out) wife Mother Betty Turner and his immense love of his family. He also loved his pastor Clarence J. Harris, Sr and his Lovefeast church family...

Chief, " We'll thank God every time we remember you."
- Phil 1:3

My deepest condolences and prayers are with thee entire Turner family!!

God picked a great man and friend from His earthly garden. He was truly a great servant in the body of Christ, a wonderful friend and confidant, he will always be missed. Much much Love, continued prayers, and heartfelt condolences to the Turner and Love Feast family.

When I met Mr. Turner I imagined him an admired him as a stoic, brave Indian leader and thus too called him "Chief". Yet I recognized he also had quite a tender heart sensitive to his family and the people he cared for. He and his wife always exhibited a special care for both family and the household of Faith-his church family.Sis.Bettye T. I call her Mrs. Chief- a loving soft spoken-well poised lady all the way supported our dutiful "Chief"Turner no matter how frequent, late or early he...

Chief will forever be my friend. Though we were decades apart in age, genuine.
