WEST, Beryl "Dean," Jr., passed away peacefully at home March 5, 2011. He was born November 28, 1946 in Asheville, N.C., the son of Beryl Dean West Sr. and Mae S. West. Dean is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Martha R. West, of Richmond; and an aunt, Margie Waddell, of Swannanoa, N.C. Dean was an insurance adjuster for Crawford & Co., and later for Capstone, ISG. He was an active member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 1101 Forest Ave., Richmond, Va. 23229, on Friday, March 11 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew's Endowment Fund or the S.P.C.A.
