Comeaux-Community Mortuary & Cremations - Beaumont Obituary

Bessie ‘Pat’ Louise Jones Aguirre was born in Port Arthur, Texas to Dorothy and Elliot Jones, Sr. She worked hard and she was a 1975 graduate of Lincoln High School in Port Arthur. Bessie later went on to work at Theriot Grocery Store and Walgreens Drug Store, where she made a positive impact on many people's lives.

Although Bessie faced many challenges throughout her life, including losing her husband, Manuel L. Aguirre, her parents, Dorothy and Elliot Jones, Sr., and her brother, Darrell Jones, Sr., she never lost her spirit and determination. She leaves behind a legacy of strength and resilience that serves as an inspiration to all who knew her.

Bessie spent the last 15-plus years of her life as a resident of Vidor Health and Rehab nursing home, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her and bring joy to those who visited her. On February 3rd, 2024, she passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy of hope and perseverance.
