Bessie H. Edwards

Mrs. Edwards was an integral part of my education in the Birmingham City School system. I was blessed to reconnect as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. May the family never forget the role she played in numerous lives.

Erica, your Mothet served as the foundation of our academic lives as our 1st grade teacher at Dudley Elementary School. Later in life, I was blessed once again to have our paths to intersect when I re-dedicated myself to our beloved Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Her warm presence will sincerely be a void in ALL of our lives. May God strengthen you and your family during this most difficult time.

Erica-what a gift your mother must have been to you and many others. We are thankful for the many years God gave her. She must have touched so many lives. We love you and will be praying that the God of all comfort surrounds you with His love and care. Kevin and Angela Jones

Mrs. Edwards was my first grade teacher at Nannie C. Dudley elementary school. I admired her from the time she walked her beautiful self in our class. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless you and give you strength.

Erica, your Mother was such a gracious, kind and beautiful soul that we all loved very much and as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love of God and support of family and friends.
