My heartfelt condolences to the Moody-Lawrence Family. Mrs. Moody-Lawrence was my fourth grade teacher at Sunset Park. Our paths crossed often over the years as it did while we both were at Winthrop. During one of our many conversations, she reminded me in a gentle but serious tone the importance of an education and not to lose site of why I was there. I never did. Dr. Bessie Ayers Moody-Lawrence, thank you for being you. You will be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss. She was a great lady and a wonderful mother. My fondest memory of her is when she was telling me stories about Lindburg when he was little. She loved her children dearly and I know she will continue to watch over you.

My sincere condolences to the family.....My God continue to shelter and give you peace....She will greatly be missed........

Katrina, We are all praying for peace of mind for you and your family during this time. I remember the first time I met your mom, when the SC State Dancers stayed at your home. I'm sure her feet were still more beautiful than any of ours. At least that's what she said...Blessings Always

To the Family,

I'm sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I am from York and was a classmate and teammate of Jimmy Lee's at Johnson C. Smith University. I also knew Linwood from our athletic days. You have my deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow.
