She was one of the greatest lights in my life and I was so blessed to have lunch with her every day for three years as I came to Carver to teach English but left having met a lady like her!! My condolences to her family and friends. Mrs. Pentecost was a very special person. I will never forget the love and care she gave me. We lived in the apartment in front of theirs. Their door was always open for me. She was one of a kind another angel take flight.

Mrs Pentecost was a great lady. Mrs P was not only a friend but a mentor to me as I started off as a teacher and later as an Assistant Principal at Ensley. Her wisdom and advise was beneficial to me when I later became a principal . On top of all this Mrs P was a first class lady!
