Not sure what to say?

On this anniversary of our dear friend's Bessie's passing we light a candle of love, symbolizing the warmth of the memories of friendship that will last a lifetime.

We have lost a person of great integrity, warmth and courage. I miss her.

Dear Katherine & Family ~
Ms. Bessie maybe gone from our sight, but never our thoughts...

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Ms. Ward. I had the pleasure of living next door to her. What a great neighbor she was. My daughter would always visit with her and her daughter Cathy. My daughter learned sign language and would communicate with her. I know the Master sent for a beautiful Angel. What a woman of God. I love Her.

To the Family of Bessie Ward,
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I have known Bessie since the late 70's. She was a quiet, compassionate and supportive person.

I will miss her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that Jer. 29: 11,12 will bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

I will always remember Bessie for her warmth and generosity, her commitment to help others and , perhaps especially, her laugh. I can hear it now.

Dear Family,
I give you my sincere condolences at this sad time.I am saddened to hear of Bessies' death. I knew Bessie when I lived in Grand Rapids from 1976 to 1985 and as part of Black Social Workers. She was a quiet hard working and committed member. She always 'walked her talk' of compassion and justice. On a personal note I will always remember how she welcomed me and my daughter into her home when we arrived in GR with only the clothes on our back when we were forced to evacuate...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
