I was just looking for her address... and so sad to see she'd passed. Such a good hearted person.Always pushing herself to grow. I challenged her belief in living my life beyond what was traditionally "safe" by society's standards... but she stood by me... and everything turned out so do good & successful! Thanks Beth a.k.a. Beth was truly a life saver for me. I met her in Maine in the 1980s when I was in my late 20s. Fast forward to 2010 when I reached out to her from Oregon. She talked to me every day on the phone for over a week while I was in crisis. Beth gave me the best gift a person could receive. She believed in me.

My memories of Beth stretch back to 1957 when we were freshmen at NDAC in Fargo (now NDSU). It was a a big step away from small town life for me. As we moved about campus during orientation, this girl from Fargo began a conversation with me. she even invited me to dinner at her home where I met her mother. That touch was so important to me in breaking the isolation around me. It was the beginning of a long friendship. She used to knit in my campus dorm room so I can attest to her skill....
