Judy, Jeanie, Betty and family,
I wanted to express my sympathy in your mom's passing. She really impacted many lives--students and educators. May God hold you in His hands at this time.

Dear Nelson Family, I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Nelson's passing. I was one of her 6th. grade students at Kuhan Barnette- like all that met her loved her and she took special interest in you. She will be missed, but take heart-she is not gone, and in our past she is
waiting for us in our future. God bless and keep you all in his hands!

I was sorry to learn of Mrs. Nelson's passing. I had her as a teacher at Kuhn Barnett. Not only was she a wonderful teacher, but her compassion and dedication rubbed off on every student! We were later friends and neighbors but I always remembered her teaching! Thank you Mrs. Nelson! My prayers go out to the family and I hope that you take comfort in her love. She was a pioneer of women...and I am one of the lucky ones to learn from her!

Dr. B was an extraordinary lady. I taught with her at Radford University, and found her to be so knowledgeable, kind, and funny. She ALWAYS had/made time for someone who needed or wanted her help. She will be greatly missed. May God give you comfort in these difficult days.

Beth Nelson was the first educator I think I met when we moved to Radford many years ago. She encouraged me, as she did many others, to pursue my education and inspired me, as she also did for others, to share the joy of reading with children and adults. Beth had an impact on many. She will be missed.

To The Nelson Family. I hate to hear about the loss of Mrs. Nelson. This is one more loss of a familiar face, and a good neighbor in our little community of Rockford. May God grant her family peace at this time.
