I savor every note, postal card, photo and memory that Bethany gave to me.
I had the priviledge of working with Bethany and quickly learned that her kindness and benevolence were matched only by her ability to make others feel appreciated.
Bethany remains one of the most original and spirited women I have ever known.
She is missed.

Dear Starr and Rosie,
We were so sad to learn of Bethany's passing. She was such a vibrant, funny, warm person, creative and witty, and with such a great laugh.
It has been awhile since we've seen you--Rosie, I doubt you would remember us. But we will never forget your mother--and we feel so lucky that we had the chance to know her. We send our love and sympathy to you both.
Your friends, Rick, Joan, Isa and Susana

I appreciated working with Bethany when she was at TMA. Her willingness to solve problems and go the extra mile was enormous. I remember Star being attracted into the activities because of his special talent. I keep her in my memory as a special person.

Dear Rosie, Starr, Mr. & Mrs. Pahl,
I am so very deeply sorry. Bethany was remarkable. I so enjoyed working with her, and I am grateful that we continued to keep in touch via emails. She surely made this world a happier place with her great humor, and her commitment to social justice.
But her love for all of you was the MOST important. You are all in my prayers. I am with you all in spirit at the Memorial. (I need to take my daughter to college in A.M. Saturday--so very...
