Not sure what to say?

As the years go by, I find myself sometimes wondering, "What would Bethany do?" Especially during this time of pandemic and possibly collapsing democracy in our country, I draw strength from the pioneer spirit that Bethany had as a source of surviving during adversity. Miss you, my friend! I hope Jon and Clara are well and happy. Xoxo

I think of Bethany often and miss her presence in my life. I'll never forget her many kindnesses and guidances in our too-short friendship. She set a standard and I hope I never forget her.

I still miss Bethany very much. Her insights and intelligence. Her love and caring for others. Her ideals. Her work ethic. Her smile...Rest in peace, dear friend! Xoxo

Jon & Clara,
We are sorry to hear of your loss. Knowing what a bundle of energy Jodie was, it's hard to imagine…

Jon and Clara. Brian and I are so sorry for your loss. This news came to us today as I did another search for where we could reconnect with you and Clara. Please accept our condolences.
Despite the length of time since last seeing your family you remain one of my most cherished friends. Love to you both, Maria Nunes and Brian Kane

Dearest Jon,
I was so very saddened to hear about the passing of this wonderful, wonderful woman. I only got to know Bethany briefly at a TCAT function and via email, but I was truly and immediately struck by her compassion and generosity of spirit.

I was very sorry to hear about Bethany's passing. She was that rare individual who not only generated a lot of creative ideas, but put those ideas to work. She was forward-thinking, smart, energetic and ahead of her time. A community-minded person, she did a lot for Ithaca and in particular, forced people to think about the real sustainability issues. She will always be for me, an inspiration and a mentor.

Dear Jon and Clara,
We just heard the news and wanted to send you both our love and prayers
