She was born Oct. 18, 1987, at Pottsville Hospital, the daughter of Mary Anne (Tobias) Troutman and Philip W. Troutman, both of Rebuck.

Bethany was a junior at Line Mountain High School, RR1 Herndon, where she was a member of the jazz and concert bands and served as drum major in the marching band.

She was employed part-time at the Elizabethville McDonald's.

Bethany was a member of the Key and art clubs, participated in school musicals and was a member of the John Hopkins University CAA.

She was a member of Himmel's United Church of Christ Church, Rebuck, where she was liturgist and was active with the youth group.

Bethy enjoyed art, writing and spending time with her friends.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Mitchell Troutman of Philadelphia and Cody Troutman of Rebuck; her maternal grandfather, John F. "Toby" Tobias of Gratz; her paternal grandmother, Agatha Ragone of RR1 Herndon; and aunts; uncles; cousins; her special Angel; and a multitude of wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Myrna L. Tobias, and her paternal grandfather, John E. Troutman.

Because of her noble gift as an organ and blood donor through the Gift of Life Program, Bethany's love of life will live on.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Bethany M. Troutman Scholarship Fund in care of Herndon National Bank, P.O. Box 305, Herndon, PA 17830.

Not sure what to say?

I miss and think about you all the time. The world was so much brighter with you in it. I'm grateful every day to have known you and to have had you in my life...you taught me how to be brave and to be myself...you always saw the good in people. Wish you were here...love and miss you terribly.

I still think of you often, Beth. I miss you.

Still thinking of you, even today. I hope you look upon us kindly.

Even after nine years I could never go a day without thinking about you, seeing or hearing something that reminds me of you, or even sharing a good story of the joy ( and trouble, lol) you would bring to me. I want you to know that I love you so much and I miss you terribly. You are and always will hold a special place in my heart.

The time we spent together was awesome. Hope all is well in the afterlife? Narf!

I still think about you Beth. I haven't forgotten...

Beth you are still missed and loved. Please watch over us until we can once again be with you. You were an amazing person and you still cross my mind everytime I drive by your cross. I have written you letters from time to time and left birthday and holiday cards. I hope in some way that you have gotten them. Rest in Peace until we see each other again.

Beth i still think about you often and really miss your smile. You always knew how to cheer someone up! Wish you were here! Love you and miss you lots!
