Betsey V. Slingerland

Betty, was my neighbor in Grant Village apts. At that time we would walk dogs together. I helped her plant a garden and did art rock stones for her. She was a wonderful woman. My dog, Rachel just loved her to pieces. Infact, Rachel became diabetic and before she passed away we spent the day with Betty. Rachel was blind and sore but did she ever have a wonderful time with Betty. Betty took such care of her brother and loved nature. I went to visit her at James Square when I found out...

Dear Richard,
I will always remember Betty(as my then, kids, used to call her), as a very loyal. caring, loving and trustworthy lady. She certainly was an important part of our lives. My kids, Erica and Greg, who are now 28 and 25, respectively were certainly well taken care of by Betty. and we'll always remember her. Arthur, Erica and Greg Lliberman
