Beautiful Betsy, one of God's soldiers, always available to serve, great gleam in her eye, full of God's joy, now residing with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Betsy was a steadfast matron of our church family who was not only a pillar of the church but also used her gift of healing and compassion by reaching out in the community, looking at the welfare of others with her 'Turtles' group which focused on maintaining the physical abilities of the elderly. The activity extended into the psychological process of aging as participants supported each other not only physically but emotionally. What can I say? What a woman! Betsy valued corporate prayer and was faithful to attend the Hour of Prayer each Thursday morning for as long as it was physically possible. Her contributions to that group can not be overstated. We praise God for his gift of wisdom and humor in her life that benefited us all.
