Not sure what to say?

I knew Aunty Betsy as a child from the time I was ten. Although my memories of that time have faded as I have gotten older, Aunty Betsy's love and warmth are still and always will be tangibly clear. She had a way of showing people the face of Jesus without ever saying a word about him. Though she will be missed here and now, it will be a delight to see her again.

We only heard about a week ago the sad news that our dear friend Mrs. Betsy De Korne had gone to be with the Lord in November 2019. Our condolences go to the whole family and we pray that the Lord's grace and comfort will be your portion at this time of grief.
We met Betsy for the first time in 1993 when she, Jack, and others came to visit India with Dr. & Mrs. Dick Van Helsma. Ever since, she and Jack were close to our family during my studies at Calvin Seminary and...

My deepest sympathies to the family. I was lucky enough to go on a mission trip in 1995 with Betsy, Jack and Dr. Van. One of the younger girls on the trip didn't have summer clothes for the Middle Eastern climate and Betsy gave her many of her own clothes as well as her camera. She was a sweet and sincere person and a pleasure to know. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Betsy DeKorne was a loving and very caring person! I began working at DeKornes Ethan Allen in 2004. They are a wonderful, welcoming family! Betsy would stop in every now and then and share her great smile and best of all - her hugs! Her hugs were bigger than she was! She enveloped you with her tiny, petite frame. Her life reflects her devotion to all through her love of Christ. Though she will be missed, she has a place in my heart, and many others as well!

Tom and I give our love and sympathy to the DeKorne family in the loss of dear Betsy. I am so glad my sister Carol and I got to visit with Betsy at Raybrook when I was last in Grand Rapids, a couple months ago. Betsy was such a grace-filled, kind, and peaceful person, and I thank the Lord for the joy of knowing her.

My heartfelt condolences to the DeKorne family, surrounding the loss of your mom. I always appreciated your mom's kindness, and her gentle way of making a person feel "seen" - she quietly attached herself in ways so needed and appreciated by others. Sending you love, as you remember your mom, and all that you've shared together as a family.

My sincere condolences to the Dekorn family for your loss. Betsy sounds like she was a wonderful woman. I never knew her but can see how her and Jacks' good values and respect influenced her family. It is certainly apparent in their children and grandchildren.

May God bless the family at this time.
