HALEY, Betsy Lee, passed away on March 21, 2009 in Irvington, Va. Born in Erwin, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Fulton A. and Julia Reams Lee, and widow of Dr. Byrnal M. Haley. Surviving are her children, Julia Sleeman of Richmond, Mary Gregory Balderson of Arlington, Donna Hutcheson of Springfield and Carl Gregory of Alexandria; grandchildren, Ford and Allen Sleeman, Brian Forman, Kristy and Adam Hutcheson; and a brother, Fulton A. Lee Jr. of Richmond. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. April 4, 2009 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Kilmarnock. Interment will be 1 p.m. April 11, 2009 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1366, Kilmarnock, Va. 22482, where she was a charter member.
