Betsy A. Hamel

Betsy & I were friends through grade school (Emerson), Jr & Sr high (Rainier Beach and then we were next door neighbors in Bryn Mawr for several years. After she moved I continued to see her on her mail route in downtown Seattle. My sincere condolences to family & friends ( albeit so late)

Betsy was immediately memorable and lovable. She came in the door bringing my mail and we became instant friends. I looked forward to seeing her every day. People like her don't come along very often and they leave quite a void when they leave. My condolences to her family....

I met Betsy many years ago at Rainier Beach High School. Even back then, she was one of a kind. Betsy enjoyed her life, when she laughed, it came from deep down and there was nothing pretentious about her.

I lost touch with Betsy over the years and am sadden to hear of her passing. I know she leaves a large void in the life of all that loved her.

Our condolences to the family of Betsy Hamel. We got to know Betsy and John through our renting of part of their house in Puerto Vallarta. Betsy will be missed by everyone in the neighborhood including us. We would like to keep in touch with you, John.

All our condolences from Betsy's friends at the Lakewood Seward Park Community Club. Betsy always made our Holiday Bazaar so much fun with her lively personality and very creative crafts. She will be well remembered.

My deepest condolences to Betsy's friends and family. I have fond memories of her mother, and of seeing Betsy on the beach. May she rest in peace.
