Betsy V. McClure

Mark & Irma, Gigi and I were saddened to learn of your loss (belatedly so) and extend our sincerest condolences.

Betsy was my favorite teacher in Roseville, plus she was my best friend's mother. Beth and I would play at their house for days at a time and Betsy was always laughing at our antics. My favorite thing about her was her laugh and her positive attitude. She was always so fun and relaxed. She loved life and had a special gift for relating to children. I will really miss her.

My heart is with you, Mary, and family. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of fun times with the McClure family as children--the Melrose house was always a welcoming home and Betsy was "Supermom" as she sometimes took our "gang" of girls to the Fiddyment cabin. I will fondly remember Betsy and her smile. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

my sincere condolences to Mrs. McClure's family, she was my teacher and I delivered the newspaper to her home on Darling way for many years when I was young.

Our love and condolences to Mark and Beth and their families on Betsy's homegoing. I still have many fond memories of her when I had her as my fifth grade teacher, as well as seeing her over at Centerpoint in the later years. I loved her smile, as well as her warm and caring spirit.

My fondest memories of Betsy is her standing over the wood burning stove up at our cabin cooking up dozens of hand rolled tacos. Betsy and my dad would have a contest about who could eat the most tacos. I think they both had a hollow leg. The thing I will miss the most will be her laugh. Betsy truly loved life and all the many people that she called friends. Especially her bestie my mom Dolly. Most people only have one Mom, I was blessed with two. I will greatly miss you Betsy, but...
