Betsy Ann Shaw

I have two memories that make me smile when I think of Betsy. The first is from when I was a child, growing up in Advent. Every fall, Betsy and Dave would dress up as Lucy and Charlie Brown. Without fail, Lucy would trick Charlie Brown into kicking the football-something we looked forward to every year. The second is more recent. For over a year, when my son Asher was just one, Betsy was one of the many wonderful Advent members who would climb the stairs in my two-story home to help with...

A favorite memory is Playing OH HELL with Chris, Betsy and Richard... it was always 'girls' against 'boys'... The Hardin's played with the Prentiss' and we played with Betsy and Richard!! hours of joy and fun! We will miss you Betsy and always think of you when we play OH HELL with many friends and family members who also love the game! Only one of your legacies...

Betsy and I go back over 50 yrs, she and I lived together and laughed together, the time we spent together will stay with me forever. She was a special friend and will live in my heart forever.
