So sorry for your loss. I just happened upon the obituary. Strange, I had been meaning to call her & ask what kind of trees are in front of her house. They are so beautiful. We are distant cousins on the waldrop side. God bless you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs Stephens was my teacher at Hueytown as well. I remember not only her as my teacher but her frequent visits to the Iceberg Restaurant that was owned by my grandparents. She was a tough but fair teacher and I only wish now as a teacher myself that we had more educators like her!

Mrs. Stephen was my fourth grade teacher at Hueytown Elementary around 1984. My favorite memory from her language arts class was memorizing hymns and the preamble to the Constitution.
I'm sorry for your loss!

Mrs. Stephens was my 4th grade teacher around 1964. She was very caring and was a great teacher.
