I remember Betsy front Cohanzie Elementary school and Waterford high school My condolences to family and friends, such a sad and sudden loss such a talented person the world just became a more bleak place

To Betsy´sFamily. So sorry to hear of Betsy´s passing . She was a great person I went to High school with her

Betsy Tal was a unique spirit in this world. Her bright and spontaneous energy touched everyone she met. We have known each other for almost 50 years in various ways. We have always felt a close bond whenever we met. She always brought beauty and laughter everywhere. Betsy has lived many "chapters" in her life, and in many places - Waterford CT, Massachusetts, Washington, NC, California, Litchfield, Norwich and New London, CT, and most recently, "commuting" weekly between Chaplin and...

My condolences to Betsy's family. I didn't know Betsy, but my husband Stuart (who died 5/12/25) was a cousin. Betsy's mother, well-known to me as Aunt Hazel, was Stuart's beloved Aunt. She accompanied Stuart on a trip to Hong Kong decades ago and they had a blast. I hope Stuart and Betsy and Aunt Hazel meet up in heaven. Best wishes and love, Susie Kent

We also had idyllic days of bike riding when kids could pack up PB&J sandwiches and be gone all day. We rode to Lakes Pond and to the store in Chesterfield for penny candy. We reconnected in highschool when she would give me rides to basketball games. In our 20s we'd periodically connect but then...

Rest in Peace
