Betsy Tanzer

The world lost a GEM and we lost a dear friend. Betsy was the best, kindest, sharing and caring person ever to be. I, Dotti, too loved clay but I was a dabbler while she embraced the art form completely and shared her expertise and talent with the world. Betsy and I ran the NY bus from West Hartford and I eventually took it over to relieve Marvin of the annoying last minute phone calls. I had an email from Betsy on April 8, 2019 inviting me to see the Clay Studio, which I had intended to do now that we have moved to Tucson, from CT/Cape Cod. I was stunned to read of her death and extend profound condolences to Marvin and her family. My heart is with you Tanzer Family, I know how much she meant to you. I only met her in January and took some lessons from her, she was patient and very sweet. She will never be forgotten for her charisma , patience and knowledge. Love you Betsy Rest in peace
