Your mom was an amazing professor. She was caring, engaging, creative, and so helpful to her students. I was so thankful to have her help me navigate through student teaching and many courses at Calvin. She even invited the student teachers to her lovely home! She truly was a joy and I learned so much from her. May God bless you as you grieve the earthly presence of your loved one but know that she is in God´s arms.

Bette was one of the first people we met in GV shortly after her husband passed. She a jewel with such fun spirit. She´d stop on her many walks to visit. She left a big gap in our neighborhood. Everyone loved her.

Tim: Annie and I extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Your mom's legacy is most impressive including her children and grandchildren. She served her God and her community very well. You all should be proud.
