GALUSHA, Bette Lee. Passed away on June 17, 2012. She died at her home by the Cape Cod Canal in Bourne, Massachusetts. Bette was born in Taunton, Massachusetts on February 19, 1945 to Everett and Helen Mederios of Taunton. She graduated from the nursing program at Atlantic Union College, was a licensed real estate agent and broker, and worked for many years as the office manager at Dr. Mark Turner's dental practice. She was a member of the Taunton Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed cooking and knitting, and especially enjoyed sharing the fruits of these hobbies with loved ones. She also enjoyed walking the beaches of Cape Cod. For four years she battled cancer with a grace and dignity that inspired her family. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Glenn Galusha; mother, Helen Mederios; two sisters, Barbara Martin and Carole Verrill; three children, Vicki Johnson of Berkley, Kimberly Rishi of Ipswich, and Justin Galusha of Weymouth. She will also be forever remembered by her eight grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. Services will be private.

Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of a very beautiful person. She was a very special friend and loved by all.

My sincere condolences to Betty's family. Betty was a classmate of mine from Taunton High School. I remember her being sweet and kind. We used to have lunch together.. With Deepest Sympathy, Norma Lima

To all of Bette's Family, my condolences for the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. I'm thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers.

Bette was the ideal mother-in-law and a wonderful grandmother. She truly loved each of her children's spouses, and she absolutely adored her grandchildren! I'm so happy that she got to enjoy her beautiful home on her beloved Cape Cod, even if it was for far too short a time. We love you and we will miss you always.

Howard and Winnie LaMountain send their heartfelt sorrow and love to the family. I am sending this for them because they don't have a computer. They knew Bette and her family for many years and went to church with them for years. Hugs to the family.

This is sad news indeed. I grew up in the same church with Bette and her sisters. They were a special family. My heart goes out to her husband, family, sisters, Mom, Grandkids and all those she loved. We will all be reunited one day soon!

To all the family, my love and prayers are with you each and everyday. The life that Bette led should guide each of us to be a better person. Everyday, like her we must strive to show everyone around us, unconditional love. Love & Prayers, Sandie xo

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. May your memories bring you comfort and peace.
