Condolences to the family of Bette Greene. May you find comfort in God who heals the brokenhearted.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family . May the true God comfort your broken hearts. For Psalms 50:15 says call and He will deliver in the day of distress.

My condolences.

Saw the movie version of "Summer..." when I was a young girl. Ripped my heart out. Still revere the story this day. Rest in peace, my sister.

I was introduced to her book "Summer of my German Soldier" in one of my child development and family studies. I re-read it so many times after my class was over. It was such a moving and touching story of the physical and emotional abuse of a wonderful young girl. The sequel was even more emotional. I was not at all surprised to hear the story was autobiographical because Betty was able to dig so deeply into the emotions of that child. She had to have experienced the treatment...

My sincere condolences to the family for your loss. At this most difficult time, may the God of tender mercies comfort you and give you strength.
