Betty lived behind Beulah and Raleigh West's house. They were great friends, Beulah would say like sisters. Their oldest daughter Kathy West and Kathy Howard were pretty much inseparable growing up as best friends. Richard Howard was a great friend to my husband Dan West and his brother Jim West. They got in a lot of mischief together. Raleigh, Beulah and Dan have all passed now, but I know Bette has met up with them in heaven. Bette was a great friend to the West family.
