Not sure what to say?

My mother adored Bette. They were great friends for a long time. They were very much alike, artistically and temperamentally. It was a difficult road to be so inclined in the decades they inhabited. I am so sorry for your loss. I can see the two Bette/Bettys in heaven, enjoying each other's company.

Bette was always one of my favorite people in my life! She ALWAYS had a smile for you! And, if you asked for it, she had good, practical advice for you. She was a treasure and, yes, a gift to all that knew her! Bette, we all will miss you!
Love you, Bette!

Bette was always one of my favorite people in my life. She always had a smile for you! Or if you asked for it, some good practical advice for you. She was a treasure and, yes, a gift to us all who knew her! Goodbye, Bette! We all love you!

Bette Physioc, was one of the most, if not the most, warm and uplifting persons Ive ever known. My childhood memories are filled with gratitude for having known her and her family as a child. One could not help feeling optimistic in her presence.

Dear Physioc Family,
The Houston family sends their love. Our mom, Helena, and Bette had such a great friendship. Mom (Rog) shared so many stories and giggles with Bette. We are so pleased that Bette was in mom's life. She will be missed. But her smile will light the stars. Love and prayers, Maura, Jamie, Briana Houston.

Bette is on my short list of favorite people in the world. I met her when I was teaching at Miege 40 years ago, and I can still vividly remember her infectious laugh, her positive outlook, and her unmatched love of people--and life. Her obituary was spot on about all that was wonderful about Bette. She was both a mother figure and a friend; she looked for--and found--the best in everyone. She will be missed but never forgotten. I am forever grateful to have known her.

I am so sorry for the loss of Bette. My Dad came to the same Memory Care in January and was lucky enough to be seated by your Mom at meals. I had the pleasure of eating with them a few times. Bette was so observant and had things all figured out. She spoke of all of her children and loved you all so much. Such a sweet spirit and dressed up and lipstick on for dinner. May you all find peace during this difficult time and relish in the memory of her.
