99! Wow! Bette was a great long-time friend, and wonderful addition to her condo home association. Her garage was the spring/summer/fall communication center, where friends gathered, topics discussed, decisions made - always an enjoyable visit. When I think of Bette, I think of two adjectives....humorous and energetic. She use to kid my Father, John J. Ebers about his thriftiness and always fancied how he should spend his money. She actually had him thinking about putting in a pool apple shaped in our back lawn. Some of Mom and Dad’s best vacations were with Don and Bette on Mackinac Island.
