One day I was at a yard sale I heard a voice and turned to see what this lady looked like until that day I had never seen Bettie but I knew her voice. I had spoken to her many times on the phone and when I walked up to her and spoke she smiled and said I know that voice and then she called me by name. Her was a dear sweet lady and I will always remember her that way. God bless you in this time of sorrow.

I sure miss talking with Bettie while I was at SCI. She will surely be missed by all that knew her. She was always jolly and had a story to tell. My prayers are with her family in this difficult time.

Mrs.B was a true gift from God. She had an enormous impact upon my life. She treated me as if I were her own son. In a way I was. She was truly a second mother to me and my heart will always have a special place for her. Farewell Mrs B., say hello to Mawmaw for me when you meet in Heaven.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Bettie’s death and I would like to express my sincere sadness and sympathies to the family at this difficult time. Bettie was a highly valuable and respected friend and co-worker.
