Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you all and sending love/sympathy in the loss of Bettie..she was indeed a very special one...when the pain of parting begins to ease may sweet and happy memories flood your hearts to help substain you...we love and care about you...doyle/shirley mills

Bettie and I grew up togeather in Valdosta. I remember her as a young girl full of life and liked by all. Over the years I have kept up with her. She will be missed, but she is in a better place. A place free of pain and suffering. Like all departed friends, her memory will always be with us.

I AM VERY GLAD THAT CARL AND BETTY CAME TO MY PARENTS 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SEE THEM BOTH. I REMEMBER BETTY WHEN I WORKED AT POWELL ELECTRONICS WHEN MY MOTHER WOULD SEND ME A MEATLOAF SANDWICH SHE ALWAYS SENT BETTY ONE TO. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF YOU. GOD BLESS

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the loss of Bettie. She was a great friend to me during our work at the Children's Home. She gave me good advice which I will never forget. She also gave me flowers and plants(some of which I still am enjoying). I am so sorry I did not know of her death in time to come for the services. You all have my deepest symphany. Judy Clemons, Past Social Worker for the Children's Home.

Bettie was a favorite cousin-in-law of my wife, Margaret Morris Plummer. We always enjoyed visiting with Carl & Bettie when we came to Alabama. She was a wonderful person. I extend my deepest sympathy to the family.

With lots of love for each one of you. Jean Powell McCoy

With greatest sympathy to all of the Powell family...... I know the great times we had growing up and the times that are to come. It is a great loss to loose a parent and/or to loose a mate. May the Lord comfort you as only he can.

Prayers for the entire family...but a special hug, and close, warm, loving thoughts to Tim --a good friend, like spirit, joyous friend in college.
love, Helen Howard

To Carl, Jack, Carl, Tim, and Barry and your families. Bettie was truly a special christian lady and left such an amazing legacy in all of you. You have our sympathy. Mary Lou and Ed Robbins
