Bettie Shelner

I remember your beautiful mother coming to Englishville to volunteer. She was always so kind, loving and caring and always had a smile for all of us, even if we weren't in your class! She was one of my favorites and I will always have such fond memories of her. It doesn't matter how old they are or their health. It hurts to no longer have a parent. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye. Hugs to you all.

Bettie was a close friend of my family since the early 1980's. I thought I'd share a quick story about her. Bettie was babysitting my brother and I at our house. My brother and I were outside playing when the neighbor's huge mean doberman, aptly named 'Killer', decided to pay his semi-weekly visit.
