Dear Brad & Kent,
Sincerest condolences to your family at the loss of your Mom. What a legacy of honor and respect your family carries on. May the sweet memories bring you comfort.

Bettie Ward was one of the most gracious, full of life, kind, and generous ladies we’ve been blessed to know. As next door neighbors, we enjoyed her love and the way she always made us Cantu kids feel special (especially when we got to partake of her homemade cookies)! I can honestly say that she had a great influence on us as we grew up. We are thankful to have known her all those years and to have been greatly blessed by her life.

Oh what a legacy she leaves. Growing up across the street in S.A. "The Wards" always had a a place to play. She was the best, may your heart shine as an angel in heaven!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I'll miss her. She was always warm and bubbling with life.

My deepest condolences go to the family and close friends of Bettie Ward. I know she will be missed. I knew Bettie through her work with The Institute of Texan Cultures. She was one of the "star" docents with the Outreach program. What a joy to work with her. She was a very talented presenter who always received excellent evaluations from other teachers. Her positive attitude and bright smile always brightened my day. I'll never forget the sight of Bettie, dressed in a pretty pink...

Brad and Kent please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a nice and sweet lady. I remember when she would cheer for us when we played baseball at the Northwest YMCA in the 1960s. God bless you all.
