Bud, Doug & family,
Your mom was a special person in the neighborhood. I very much miss our talks over the fence by my rear garden. Betty always had great tales of travel, her extended family, gardening advice and praise for whatever flowers in my garden were in bloom at the time. I was so happy when she called to include me in the annual neighborhood Holiday Dinner party. It was a wonderful way for me to meet many neighorbors when I was the "young kid" on the block.

Your mother sounds like an incredible woman. I wish I'd had a chance to meet her, but I know you and the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

I hope you feel the love surrounding you from your college circle of friends.

I am so blessed to have had Betty as my "Great Aunt" and my boys' "Great-great Aunt"!! She was so thoughtful and dear, and we enjoyed every moment we spent with her and Uncle Bud. We were fortunate to have them come to visit us, all the way to Northern Minnesota. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family, she will be greatly missed. Her light will shine down from heaven and live on in our hearts. We love you, Uncle Bud!!!
