My condolences to the Apel family. Betty was one of my favorite teachers during my years at Notre Dame High School. She taught me how to type which is something I have used daily in my adult life and I will be forever thankful for her wonderful skills as a great teacher.

Mrs. Apel was my teacher at Notre Dame. I will always remember her laugh, her sense of humor, and how much she helped us all. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

It is with great sorrow that I learned of the passing of Betty. I have many memories of her when Coach was at Notre Dame. She was the most gracious and pleasant person to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
