Betty Jean Appling

I didn't know about her passing until after. She and Barney were neighbors of ours her in Huntsville. Both her and Barney were such lovely people. I miss seeing her out walking her dog. And occasionally having to tell her to go back inside. Rain, cold wouldn't stop her from walking her dog. We will miss her. I loved her pretty smile.

Mary and I were heartbroken to learn of Betty's passing, Now, almost three months later. Betty and Barney have been among our dearest of friends ever since their marriage in the 5o's. The loss of Betty' husband and more recently, her son Todd, caused her deep pain and grief which we share. Mary and Betty graduated from Warrenton Highschool together.
