Living next door to Betty for over 35 years, she would always shine a light on my day. Known as "Grams" to our dogs they would protect her home like they would ours. Always going out of her way to smile and talk with everyone she made me happy. I miss you

Betty really was a very kind person. She saw the good in everyone and everything. We worked together for several years and I was honored to call her my friend. Even after our retirement, the occasional lunches with our RSD group were memorable. She will be missed.

Betty was a remarkably kind and caring person. She was inclusive in her love and acceptance of others and her life was devoted to her son and his family. She reached out to so many others in her community and church to provide assistance. I was privileged to know and work with Betty for several years in the Division of Medicine. Her commitment to others was evident in how she approached her work and related to others. We enjoyed occasional lunches after her retirement but not nearly so...
