Not sure what to say?

Betty was one of the very best people that I have ever known! She was an excellent listener and encourager in the way of Jesus. I miss her very much!!!!

I just found out about Betty's passing into glory last night when I called their beautiful home to see when we could come visit and Shelly answered the phone. It has saddened me so much to think that I will never again get to work beside her in her kitchen and listen to her kind and caring wisdom. Dear Rev. Brooks, Please know that your siblings in New Castle Presbytery are holding you in much tender prayer as you entrust your beloved Betty to God's eternal embrace. You and Betty have touched so many lives with the love of Christ throughout your decades of ministry together. May the peace of Jesus Christ hold you and your family now and always! Grace and peace, Tracy Keenan, Missional Presbyter, New Castle Presbytery

Dear Earl, Mike, Chelle and families, we were so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. However, we know she is happy and with our Lord. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Brooks Family, We´ve lost a truly great lady! So kind, elegant and gracious. She will be missed for these and countless other reasons. Beth Fulesday Hallstrom

My sincere sympathy to Earl and family. She was a beautiful soul and an inspiration to us. We have great memories of weeks at the beach.

Heaven just got another angel. Betty and Earl were a special couple who showed us true Christian life and inspired us to be better people. I have missed them terribly since they moved. But fortunate to have known them and to stay in touch.

So sorry the learn of Betty's passing. Have been good friends from the day Earl married us. And been in contact for the last 50 years. Thoughts and prayers for all. Bob and Jan

So sorry for your loss. Our prayers and deepest sympathies. Jay and Cheryl Mosley.
