Not sure what to say?

Betty was a shining light in my life as a youth at SMC.

Larry and I were married at SMC and attended from time to time on visits through the years We cried during the whole memorial service knowing we would miss her sorely and SMC will not be the same without her. If all the tears shed could have gone through the doors and out onto the streets of Shandon and throughout the state, there would be a very deep river named Betty Bruner.

All who...

Betty Bruner was a very positive influence in my life. She always had a wonderful attitude and the best laugh. At church, it was not the number of people that came to something but whether it was what God would want for us to do. Her legacy is the children that were lucky enought to know her and learn from her. She is for me one of the saints that passed through my life. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

On behalf of the entire Few Family, we send our sincere sympathy to all who are grieving the loss of Ms. Betty Bruner, especially her family. May she rest in peace knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior. She was a loving and faithful servant. I am so thankful that my children knew and witnessed her Christian Character. Shandon UMC will certainly miss her presence.

1949 Youth Camp

I will always remember the important, positive influence you had on my life as a teen at Shandon. The youth retreats and leadership in MYF. Your caring Christian leadership for so many young teen agers will never be forgotten.

I'm very sorry for your loss. In times of grief, some find the words at Psalm 62:8 helpful, where it shows how pouring out our hearts to God in prayer can be comforting. May He be with you.

You will always be remembered, Betty, as the loving, caring leader-helper of the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Go with God.

We sincerely mourn the death of this most gracious and kind great lady. You have already been blessed if you have known her Rest in peace, dear Betty. You are already missed. Edwin Betsill

I know that when Betty walked into the Light, she was greeted by a multitude who chorused "Hello, Friend!", as she has said to so many, so often and so sincerely. I was blessed to have her in my life. She was my friend.

Sounds like she was an amazing person. We are very sorry for your loss.
