Betty was one of the nicest & hardest working Friends of Greenwich Library in all the years I worked there (and that's from a group including lots of great people to begin with). My condolences to the family -- but what a great legacy to leave.

Betty was a wonderful Riverside neighbor. She was naturally
cheerful and friendly. We enjoyed sharing the occasional stroll on Meadow Road. We remember her as a wonderful conversationalist who was sincerely interested in connecting with the neighborhood families - young and old. Betty was a lovely friend and she is missed.
We send our sympathies to her family.
Best regards,

Betty was indeed a friend of mine and of The Greenwich Library to which she gave countless hours of time and effort. She also attended many films in the Library Friday Film series that I hosted.
Her smile, kindness, and attentiveness will be missed.
